With over 30 years of industry expertise, framer Andy Yu has dedicated his craft to preserving and showcasing artwork, memorabilia, and other cherished keepsakes. 

Andy began his career learning and mastering the arts of framing, preservation, and presentation at one of most esteemed frame shops in the Bay Area.

In 2003, fueled by his entrepreneural spirit and desire to create an experience like no other, Andy founded his very own framing business—creatively named—Andy Picture Framing, run out of his garage in Fremont, California.

As word spread and his reputation for quality and service grew, Andy knew he had a great opportunity in the palm of his hands. In 2005, he established Image Design & Framing in Hayward, California, originally specializing in wholesale framing for artists, brokers, and galleries. 

Throughout the years, and as the business continued to take off, Andy began to extend his services to retail clients, leading to the grand opening of the Danville, California store in 2010. It was at this time that his wife, Ann, joined the business, and together they made the transition into a full-service frame shop, offering both retail and commercial framing with a focus on attention to detail, expert craftsmanship, and personalized service.

Today, Image Design & Framing remains a locally-operated and family-owned business, committed to providing exceptional quality and customer service to clients near and far. Whether framing fine art, personal mementos, or commercial projects, we take pride in assisting our clients in bringing their visions to life—one frame at a time.
